Lane Gordon

Lane Gordon is Co-Founder and Co-Managing Director at Preston Todd Advisors and has spent the last 10 years specializing in mergers and acquisitions. He was also co-founder and President of MerchantPortfolios.com where he specialized in mergers and acquisitions in the payments and financial technology industries. Prior to that, Mr. Gordon served in various executive capacities including CEO of GRASP Information Systems, a market research firm which he founded and which was acquired by the A.C. Nielsen Co., and Director of US Strategy and Development for a French multinational. Mr. Gordon had also built a successful real estate development firm in the Greater Boston area.

Mr. Gordon is responsible for client and new opportunity development. He holds a Masters Degree (M.S.) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as well as a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon University. He is fluent in French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Adam T. Hark

Adam T. Hark is Co-Founder and Managing Director at Preston Todd Advisors. Mr. Hark's 10 years of success in advising clients in growth and exit strategy draw on his prior skills as a successful real estate investor and turnaround specialist in Boston, MA. In 2007 Mr. Hark co-founded MerchantPortfolios.com whose core business is brokering payments platforms and card processing portfolios. Mr. Hark is a highly esteemed advisor in the payments and payments technology sectors. His valuation work is used by buyers, sellers, litigators, accountants, and institutional investors. He is an accomplished writer and contributor to payments and integrated software periodicals, and an expert witness for complex litigation. Mr. Hark heads PTA’s sell-side practice, business development, and strategic advisory services.

Mr. Hark holds a Bachelor's of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Vermont.

Anthony Malatesta

Anthony Malatesta is the Vice-President of M&A at Preston Todd Advisors. Starting with the firm in 2012, Mr. Malatesta has spent the past five years immersed in the payments processing and financial technology sectors. While a Junior Associate, his research, analysis, and valuation work played a vital role in multiple M&A transactions. Currently, Mr. Malatesta continues his valuation and analysis work while working in tandem with both PTA’s buy-side and sell-side practices.

Mr. Malatesta graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) in Finance from Bentley University.
